Snorkel Oahu: Mermaid Caves of Zablan

Snorkeling Oahu: 18 September 2020 - Entered the water from the south end of Nanakuli Beach Park aka "Zablan Beach" and went south hugging the rocks. Found the entrance to the Mermaid Caves and ventured in. The walls were alive in color: Pinks, Purples, Turquoise & Greens exploded in color. The milky blue water reflected rays of sunlight beaming through holes in the ceiling. It illuminated the entire cave with color and light. The water was friendly but unpredictable and strong as it began to pull me out while filming. Back outside, we explored up close all the marinelife making these mushroom shaped coral formations home and discovered a long chain leading to? And of course we saw a Honu who kept us company.
