The max for 2022 is $841/mth. It will go down if you have earned and/or unearned income. It's for those with disabilities, or who have extremely limited incomes. It is NOT enough to live on. You will almost certainly need more assistance. This may come from other benefit programs, like SNAP and housing assistance. Be aware there is a LOT of demand and funds are tight. Plan to provide some type of support when you are gone.
