Dog vs. Cyclist, Episode 2

Sadly, this dog-versus-cyclist incident ended badly for the dog. The impact with the dog nearly knocked me to the ground, which could have ended badly for the dog owner.

This is the second time in the last six months that a dog ran in front of my bicycle and came close to causing a crash. At 15-25 mph, it’s very difficult to stop or out maneuver a dog intent on catching a cyclist.

Dog owners, please... keep you pets out of the road!
