Tranfering VHS to the computer really isn't that hard, in this video I show you the BEST way I capture my VHS and HI-8 TAPES.

**FIRMWARE UPDATE: To update the firmware of the device, contact support here: support@clearclicksoftware.com
They will get back to you asking you for your AMAZON ORDER NUMBER to verify the model for the firmware as the wrong one could "brick" the machine. Depending on when you get it, you might not even need update it. The CS is fantastic and very quick to respond.
