ILYUSHIN IL-62: The last civil IL-62 in the world! - Syrian Election Campaign Transport

This one is cool! Not only did it survive a crash in Sudan in 2018, it is still going strong despite rising fuel prices and noise restrictions all over the world.

The only other flying IL-62's you'll find are in North Korea and in the Russian Air Force.

The airplane was carrying election campaign equipment to Syria, but had to land in Algier (Algeria) before entering Syria. Here seen departing Billund Airport, Denmark.

This aircraft is built in the Soviet Union in 1985 and has flown almost all over the world ever since. It started with east-german airline 'Interflug' and later with Aeroflot Soviet Airlines. It was later converted into a cargo aircraft - only three of these ever existed.
It is now flying for Rada Airlines based in Belarus.
