Pray along the Chaplet to the Holy Spirit. This version of the chaplet has been slighted adapted from the chaplet prayers composed by a Catholic Franciscan Capuchin missionary in 1892, then approved by Pope Leo XII.

There are many different from of the Holy Spirit Chaplet prayers. Below is the full text of this prayer.

CHAPLET OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
00:13 Act of Contrition
​O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee. I detest all my sins because I dread the loss of Heaven and all the pains of hell, but most of all because they offend You, my God, Who are all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Your grace, to sin no more and to avoid the near occasions of sin. Amen.

00:36 Come Holy Ghost Prayer
Come, Holy Spirit, fill my heart with Your holy gifts. Let my weakness be penetrated with Your strength this very day that I may fulfill all the duties of my state conscientiously, that I may do what is right and just.

Let my charity be such as to offend no one, and hurt no one's feelings; so generous as to pardon sincerely any wrong done to me. Assist me, O Holy Spirit, in all my trials of life, enlighten me in my ignorance, advise me in my doubts, strengthen me in my weakness, help me in all my needs, protect me in temptations and console me in afflictions.

Graciously hear me, O Holy Spirit, and pour Your light into my heart, my soul, and my mind. Assist me to live a holy life and to grow in goodness and grace. Amen.

01:40 1st Mystery of the Chaplet of the Holy Spirit
By the Holy Ghost is Jesus conceived of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Meditation: "...The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will cover you with its shadow. And so the child will be holy and will be called Son of God." (Luke 1:35)

Prayer: Dear Holy Spirit, help me always to implore your Divine aid, and Mary's intercession, to imitate the virtues of Jesus Christ, Who is the Model of virtues, so that I may be made conformed to the image of the Son of God.

Pray the Our Father…, Hail Mary…, Glory Be... (7 times)

04:19 2nd Mystery
The Spirit of the Lord rested upon Jesus when he was baptized.

Meditation: "And when Jesus had been baptized he at once came up from the water, and suddenly the heavens opened and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming down on Him."

Prayer: Dear Holy Spirit, help me always to hold in the highest esteem the priceless gift of sanctifying grace infused into my soul I n Baptism. Assist me to keep my baptismal promises. Holy Spirit increase in me Faith, Hope, and Charity. Help me constantly practise these virtues.

07:17 3rd Mystery Chaplet of the Holy Spirit
By the Spirit is Jesus led into the desert to be tempted by the devil.

Meditation: "Filled with the Holy Spirit, Jesus left the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the desert for forty days being put to the test by the devil."

Prayer: Dear Holy Spirit, I rejoice in the sevenfold gift bestowed upon me in Confirmation. Holy Spirit, release within me the spirit of wisdom and understanding, of counsel and fortitude, of knowledge and piety, and of the fear of the Lord. Help me faithfully yield to your Divine guidance, so that, in all the trials and temptations of life, I may act virtuously, seeking to be a perfect Christian and valiant soldier of Jesus Christ.

10:14 4th Mystery
The Holy Spirit in the Church.

Meditation: “And suddenly a sound came from heaven like the rush of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.Telling, the mighty works of God.”

Prayer: Dear, Holy Spirit, thank you for having made me a child of your Church which is ever animated and directed by your Divine power. Help me hear and obey the Holy See, your infallible mouthpiece, and the Church, the pillar and ground of truth. Holy Spirit, empower me to uphold her doctrines, seek her interests, and defend her rights.

13:12 5th Mystery Chaplet of the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit in the soul of the just man and just woman.

Meditation:The Holy Spirit in the soul of the just man and just woman.
Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, which you have from God? You are not your own; Do not quench the Spirit, And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

Prayer: Dear Holy Spirit I am mindful of your presence within me. Make me pure in soul and body. Empower me to faithfully obey all your Divine Inspirations, so that I may bring forth the Fruits of the Spirit - Charity, Joy, Peace, Patience, Dignity, Goodness, Long-suffering, Mildness, Faith, Modesty, Continency, Chastity.
