Plane Spotting at Manchester Airport, RW23R | Incl Emirates A380 & TUI MAX

With non essential flights resuming, airports in the UK are now seeing an increase in flight movements, albeit not a huge increase as the current 'green list' only includes a few countries that UK tourists can freely visit without the need of quarantine. The impact can be mildly felt up here at Manchester Airport where TUI, Easyjet and Ryanair have increased their flights. Jet2 won't resume flights until June.

Quite a misty start, when I arrived I couldn't see a thing so had to wait about 40 minutes for the fog to clear, fortunately not much went in or out during that time. The temperature then quickly rose to about 18 degrees leaving behind a perfect spring day. The highlight to see on this visit was a TUI 737 MAX heading out on a test flight up north. Nice to see the MAX returning again, as well as the Emirates A380 being back at Manchester. See below for a list of movements and their timestamps:
