Arrancar manualmente motor congelador-nevera.[Manually start an engine of a freezer or refrigerator]

Si el motor de nuestro congelador o nevera no funciona, podríamos tener un fallo en el termostato o incluso en el propio motor. Para descartar dicho fallo os voy a explicar cómo conectar el motor directamente a la corriente eléctrica.
1º Desenchufamos el aparato.
2º Abrimos la caja de conexiones del motor.
3º Identificamos que cables vienen del termostato y cuáles del enchufe.
4º Cambiamos el cable marrón (fase) que viene del enchufe para la misma posición que el cable negro que es el que viene del termostato.
5º Enchufamos el aparato.
De esta manera podremos comprobar que el fallo no está en el motor sino en el termostato. Si por el contrario el motor no arrancase probablemente estaría estropeado.

If the engine of our freezer or refrigerator does not work, we could have a failure in the thermostat or in the motor itself. To discard the engine failure I will explain you how to connect the engine directly to the electric current.
1º Unplug the appliance.
2º Open the junction box of the engine.
3º You have to identify which wires belong to the thermostat and to the plug.
4º We have to change the brown wire (phase) coming from the plug for the same position as the black wire that is coming from thermostat.
5º Plug the appliance.
This way we can see that the failure is not in the engine but it is in the thermostat. If instead the engine does not start probably could be damaged.
