Join the DRoleSt family and the other members of an October Active Adventures Tui tour. Starting in Christchurch, you will drive and hike in beautiful Arthur's pass to reach the Wild West coast of New Zealand's South Island. On the next day, take a helicopter ride up the world's steepest commercially hiked glacier. Frazer Glacier is a prime wilderness and majestic mountain area. The third day of your trip, you will take a bush plane into the Siberia Valley. You will see the team hike up to Crucible Lake, which is still frozen over in October. The view from the top is simply incredible. After sleeping in a hut, on the fourth day, you will hike and jet boat on the Wilkin's river to get back to some sort of civilization. On the fifth day, the team will reach Queenstown with a plan to hike a mountain after a gondola ride. However, a snow storm hits and the DRoleSt family decides to race on luge. A thrilling afternoon of plain fun. On the sixth day, you hike in Fjordland National Park and reach Milford Sound, where you board a boat for an overnight cruise. On the seventh day, after enjoying waterfalls from way up close on the boat, you make your way with the rest of the team to kayak to glide gracefully in the sound. On the eighth day, you guide shows you the dance move to a famous Kiwi song, slice of heaven. A bit more of plain old fun while you are heading back to reality and the end of the trip.
