Kane County Law Library & Self Help Legal Center: Open to All

Court can be intimidating. The Kane County Law Library is here to help.

Located on the second floor of the Kane County Judicial Center, the Kane County Law Library and Self-Help Legal Center offers free legal services and real people who are willing and eager to assist you.

What they offer:
✅ Free divorce and family law assistance, both walk-in and call-in
✅ Free legal services one evening a month at the Gail Borden Public Library in Elgin and the Santori Public Library in Aurora
✅ Help by phone, email, or online chat
✅ Open to everyone in the community

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with extended hours on Wednesdays until 7:00 p.m.
