Another day begins in the heart of the mountains — a place where life is simple, yet full of challenges. This is the story of a mother with a broken heart but an unbreakable spirit, continuing to fight for her life and her children.
After being betrayed by her husband, this nomadic mother is left alone to carry the heavy burden of her family. She now raises her daughters, Tiana and Anisa, on her own, surrounded by the raw beauty of nature. Anisa, her disabled daughter, needs extra care, making the mother’s responsibility even greater.
As a new day starts, they head into the mountains. For them, the mountains are not just a place — they are a refuge, a source of survival, and a symbol of hope for a better future.
Along the way, they meet a kind elderly woman who lives separately from Behnaz. Despite not knowing them well, the old woman shows compassion and offers to take care of the children, asking Behnaz to leave them with her so they can stay safe and not get hurt.
Behnaz, always worried about her daughters, feels a sense of relief after seeing the old woman’s kindness. She leaves her children with her and heads deeper into the mountains with a calmer heart.
She begins gathering a wild mountain plant called “Kardeh,” a traditional edible herb that is part of their daily life. As she carefully picks the plants, her mind drifts through thoughts of hardship, loneliness, and pain — but also hope that still lives within her.
This is more than just a story of struggle. It is a story of strength — the strength of a mother who, despite betrayal and hardship, continues to fight for her daughters and refuses to give up.
Life in the mountains is never easy, but a mother’s love is stronger than any hardship.
