Today we’re taking an early access look at the upcoming Illinois DLC for American Truck Simulator! Starting in St. Louis with a full load of lemonade, we make the classic I-55 drive north toward Chicago while checking out the brand new Midwest scenery, cities, highways, and atmosphere added to ATS.

Illinois is one of the most important states yet for tying the ATS map together and after spending time driving through it, American Truck Simulator finally feels like the Midwest. From industrial areas and farmland to busy interstates and urban traffic, this DLC completely changes the feeling of long haul trucking in ATS.

This video showcases gameplay from the Illinois DLC in early access and highlights the detailed road network, scenery improvements and immersive driving experience throughout the state.
