𝗠𝗲𝗯𝗼, 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟯: The Adi Students’ Union (AdiSU) carried out an Inner Line Permit (ILP) checking drive in the Mebo Circle area, where several violators were reportedly detected during the inspection.

According to sources, the drive also exposed cases of fake ILPs allegedly being used at the Pasighat check gate. Reports further claimed that some of the questioned ILPs were issued from the office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC).

AdiSU members stated that the initiative was conducted to ensure strict implementation of ILP regulations and to identify unauthorized individuals entering the region through forged or suspicious documents.

The union has reportedly urged the concerned authorities to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter and take necessary legal action against those involved in the issuance and use of fake ILPs.

The checking drive created concern among local residents, with many calling for stronger verification mechanisms at check gates to prevent misuse of official documents.
