If You Struggle With Deadlifts, WATCH THIS!
The SIMPLEST tip I can give you to make the Deadlift “click with you” more is to think about the motion as “horizontal” rather than down and up!
Yes, your weights go “down and up” each rep, but the ACTION of the muscles is in your backside, and they get worked the most when we move them “back and forward”.
So, instead of trying to “move your weights to the floor”, try to instead think about your butt going “back to the wall behind you”. The weights will naturally go down, but you’ll be doing so in a safer and more effective way for your glutes and hamstrings!
Stick your butt back until you feel a deep stretch in your hamstrings, and then simply “squeeze your butt forward”! The weights will naturally come up when you do that, but again, you’ve kept all the action “horizontal”!
Think of your deadlifts as a horizontal butt movement, and I promise you’ll feel them more than ever before! Hope this helps!! Let me know! NOW, DO IT!!
