Oak Trees is our new Specialist Short Break Service with a combined, outreach wrap around service – for children (8 -18 yrs) and young people (14+) who have a combination of complex needs which may include:

Autism
Learning Disabilities
Sensory; Social; Attachment; and Learning Difficulties
Challenging Behaviour
Meeting new people. Doing new things. Seeing new places. Learning new skills – That’s what our short breaks services are all about

It’s about the child or young person and what they want to do. They can choose to do the same things or something different each time they see us. It’s an opportunity for children and young people to have fun, gain independence, learn and develop. While families get to take a much needed break from their 24-hour caring role.

We believe that every child or young person who’s assessment highlights they would benefit from a break – should have access to a specialist, high quality, short breaks service – We’re here to help make that happen, by offering high quality, flexible; robust, accessible; outcome focused services.
