In this video, I decided that I wanted to have a port downstairs closer to the television where the downstairs switch is. I've since moved the entertainment center on the other side of the living room to better accommodate the cable so it's not in the walkway. I wasn't able to properly locate the cable using a toner tracer so I had to literally open up each wall plate and see what color it was labeled as. Luckily I was able to find it in quick time for those who know cabling spending a few minutes checking just 2-3 or even 4 wall plates is nothing compared to having to find a cable with no toner tracer and no identifiable information. TLDR: Converting Cat5 RJ11 wiring to Cat6 RJ45 wiring internal wall keystone jack into a wallplate.
