In celebration of the 25th anniversary of two huge Hanson milestones, the release of “MMMBop” (April 15) and the track hitting #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 (May 24), MTV is debuting “The Song That Started It All” to commemorate the smash single’s success. In this premiere episode, the full story of “MMMBop” is revealed through a mix of iconic MTV 90’s throwback clips from the likes of “Total Request Live”, “House Of Style”, and more, and present-day interviews with the Hanson brothers themselves, the song’s producer Stephen Lironi and legacy MTV VJ, Dave Holmes. To this day, Hanson’s musical talents continue to thrive. Their brand-new album “Red Green Blue” is out now, marking their entry into their third decade as a band!
