CARRY ON DIAPER BAG (7 kg) Flying with a Toddler, Traveling Family

Here's what I packed in my carry-on diaper bag for flying with our one-year-old toddler from Thailand to Malaysia. Diaper bag affiliate link: https://geni.us/lilyjadebags Originally, we were going to fly with AirAsia, which is strict about their 7 kg (15.4 lbs) cabin baggage limit. However, that flight was cancelled and we flew with Malaysian Airlines. The carry-on allotment for Malaysian Airlines is also 7 kg.

Our family is traveling long-term, so much of the space and weight in my backpack is taken up by electronics and important documents. There wasn't much space left to pack essentials for my toddler!
