Clean, filtered water is important in achieving smooth, full-bodied coffee every time.

It is important to regularly change the water filter in your Barista Express® Impress espresso machine to prevent limescale build up and eliminate the bitter taste of your coffee. This is why we have created this step-by-step tutorial on how you can replace the water filter to achieve rich, full-flavoured coffee with every brew.

Directions:
1. Remove and drain the water tank and discard the used water filter.
2. Soak the new water filter for five minutes then rinse and assemble to mesh.
3. Set the new filter date to two months ahead and install the water filter into the tank by clicking into place.
4. Fill the tank to the max line and reinstall the water tank in to place. Remember to the replace the filter after 60 days or after 48L.
