As March marks Red Cross Month nationwide, communities are honoring the volunteers, donors, and dedicated teams who save lives every day.

Part of the dedicated effort that makes its lifesaving mission possible, the American Red Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania is celebrating and highlighting its impact locally.

Whether it’s disaster relief, blood donations, or support for members of the armed forces, the month of March acknowledges the vital work of the Red Cross. Sherry Nealon-Shrive, Executive Director of the American Red Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania, explained why this month is meaningful.
