Brush Master Wood Chipper ch8 For the Homestead

We have a new wood chipper! I have been watching the local craigslist adds for a while now to see if I could find a good wood chipper for a deceit price. I looked at different options out there for stand alone units and tractor units. I almost went for a tractor attachment a couple different times now but a couple things slowed me down, fist was price. I wasn't sure that I was ready to invest $1,500-5,000 for a decent tractor wood chipper. When you don't have all the money in the world you have to pick and choose. The second reason is that I would like to use the sticks that are over 3" for firewood and most of the trees grow good and strait on our homestead. And I guess if there was a third reason it would be accessibility. This little guy can go to the pile of limbs better than a tractor can. As time goes on I may get a bigger chipper, but this will be a good start.

The chipper in this video is a Bush Master ch8. It has an 11hp engine and can chip wood up to 3". It was on the list of wood chippers that I was watching for and when it came up at such a good deal I acted. It seems to do a good job so far.
