Trying to Fix Morale, Food & Power at the Same Time | Space Haven | E03

In Space Haven, this station-run strategy / management simulation turns into a scramble to stabilise morale, food production, temperature, and power before the whole colony starts falling apart. I’m trying to expand the base, optimise room layout, manage resources, and build a proper survival setup—but every fix seems to uncover another system that’s already failing.

This episode is basically me trying to stop the crew from losing their minds while also discovering that starvation, bad bedrooms, weak heating, and missing power are all apparently connected.

So naturally we end up:

rebuilding the sleeping quarters to improve crew management and comfort
rushing algae and grow beds to create an actual food supply
expanding into new rooms before I fully understand the layout costs
juggling thermal control, logistics, and production chains at the same time

Which also means:

mental breaks start kicking off anyway
one system comes online and another instantly complains
the food room needs power, heat, and resources I barely have
I keep learning new mechanics right as the station starts demanding them

The good news is we finally start pushing toward self-sufficiency.
The bad news is we are still one shortage away from this entire place becoming a very cold, very hungry disaster.

Next episode, I need to keep the grow operation alive, sort out oxygen and water pressure properly, and stop the station from turning into a giant chain reaction of bad management decisions.
