One thing I enjoy the most while traveling Malaysia is to explore off the beaten path destinations. I really enjoy visiting Malaysian kampungs - villages – a lot. While staying here in Kota Bharu in Kelantan Malaysia, we thought why not just take a grab taxi a bit outside the city and just see what happen and what we’ll experience. It tuned out to be a great day in the middle of nowhere in a Malaysian kampung.

When you travel southeast Asia, one of the best things you can do to experience the culture and get to know the people of the countries in southeast Asia is to visit small off the beaten path destination. You are going to realize soon while traveling southeast Asia that most people are very friendly and open towards foreigners. It’s always quite interesting to explore around these villages, where no tourist normally go to.
