In this one, we go back out to one of our exposures to hunt down some cretaceous fossils, including clams, gastropods, and most abundantly, Baculites. I stocked up on extra to bring them out of the intense Montana winter that is right around the corner, and to give a good demonstration on how to prp a baculite in one of three ways: exposing the fossil while leaving it inside its concretion, removing the fossil from its concretion, and prepping the nacre( mother-of-pearl, commonly referred to on fossils as ammolite) to show off magnificent color!
