ServiceNow Expeditions #09 - Business Rules - Display

Display Business Rules preload small server facts before the form paints, stash them in "g_scratchpad", and let client scripts or UI Policies react without extra calls; it’s also a low-code option if you want to display some information on the form through "Add Message" functionality of the business rule.

Use Display BRs to pass tiny values to the client via g_scratchpad and show messages conditionally.

Keep g_scratchpad small; avoid big JSON and long sys_id arrays.

Scope conditions tightly so the rule runs only when needed.

Don't forget to check if value exists, to avoid false activations.
