Trade Trend With Precision – T3 Trend & OBV Oscillator No More Guesswork

Today, I’ll show you a two-indicator strategy that helps you spot the start and end of strong trends with confidence — no guessing, no clutter.

This system combines T3 Trend with PR for direction and OBV Oscillator for volume confirmation.
Together, they create a rule-based framework that filters false signals and identifies real momentum across forex, crypto, stocks, and indices.

⚙️ Indicator Setup
1️⃣ T3 Trend with PR (by TKP)

TradingView path:
Indicators → Search “TKP T3 Trend with SA Bar Color”
Settings Adjustments:
TSI Long Length → 25 → 35
TSI Short Length → 5 → 30
TSI Signal Length → 14 → 15
Length → 5 → 12
Second Length → 8 → 14
Style:
Keep only T3 Fast Line & T3 Slow Line visible for a clean chart.
Logic:
🟦 Both lines sky-blue + price above → Bullish trend
🔴 Both lines red + price below → Bearish trend
This gives you instant clarity on directional bias.

2️⃣ OBV Oscillator (Volume Confirmation)
Indicators → Search “OBV Oscillator” → add standard version
Settings:
N → 25 (smooths out noise)
Style → Keep only colored histogram visible
Interpretation:
🟦 Sky-blue columns → Rising volume, bullish confirmation
🟨 Yellow columns → Falling volume, bearish confirmation
The OBV Oscillator validates whether price moves are supported by real trading volume — a key edge for identifying strong trends.

📈 Trading Rules
🟢 BUY Setup
1️⃣ T3 lines turn sky-blue → bullish trend
2️⃣ Price trading above both lines
3️⃣ OBV histogram prints sky-blue columns → strong buying pressure
4️⃣ Bullish candle closes in same direction
Entry: At candle close
Stop-Loss: Below T3 lines or recent swing low
Take-Profit: 1 : 1.5 risk-to-reward ratio

🔴 SELL Setup
1️⃣ T3 lines turn red → bearish trend
2️⃣ Price trades below both lines
3️⃣ OBV histogram prints yellow columns → strong selling pressure
4️⃣ Bearish candle closes in same direction
Entry: At candle close
Stop-Loss: Above T3 lines or recent swing high
Take-Profit: 1 : 1.5 risk-to-reward
