A very important and logical formula-based question from Current Electricity! 🎯

🔍 Key Concept:

If a wire is cut into n equal parts, resistance of each part becomes:

R' = \frac{R}{n}

👉 Because:
R \propto L



📌 When n Pieces are Connected in Series:

R_s = n \times \frac{R}{n} = R

✔ Total resistance remains same



📌 When n Pieces are Connected in Parallel:

R_p = \frac{R}{n^2}

✔ Resistance decreases greatly



✅ Final Idea:

💡 Cutting wire changes resistance because length changes

Cut into n parts →
Each part:
\frac{R}{n}

Parallel combination:
\frac{R}{n^2}
