Python Student from Dadu Builds QR Attendance System | Salwa Khushk | PITP MUET | Phase II | Batch 3

From learning Python basics to building a QR Code–based Student Attendance System, this is the inspiring journey of Salwa Khushk from Dadu through the PITP Free IT Course.

Salwa Khushk is enrolled in Batch 3, Phase 2 of PITP (Python Development) at the PITP MUET Dadu Center. Through this Sindh Government supported initiative, she learned Python programming from basic to advanced levels.

During the course, she studied key topics including variables, data types, loops, conditions, functions, object-oriented programming, file handling, Matplotlib, and Pandas. Students also completed practical assignments such as calculators, mark sheet systems, student registration systems, and student management systems to strengthen their programming skills.

For her final project, Salwa developed a Student Attendance System using QR codes. The system allows institutes to register students, store their information, generate QR codes, and automatically record attendance through scanning. The system stores records in Excel sheets and allows teachers to check attendance for specific students or courses easily.

This solution helps institutes avoid manual attendance issues such as time consumption, duplication errors, and data management difficulties.

Salwa aims to continue developing her Python skills in data science and software development and hopes to work with professional software houses in the future.
