i considered making a part 1 and part 2 of my concert experience and my time in LA but i realized in a few years i'm gonna look back on this video, and it just makes more sense for me to have everything in one video to remind me of this entire weekend experience :) i provided the time stamps in case y'all came for one or the other. i know i have subscribers who aren't bts fans, or y'all don't want concert spoilers etc. hope you enjoy the video!

this is my full experience of the first rose bowl show for BTS' speak yourself tour on may 4, 2019 :') it was honestly hands down the best night of my life, and that weekend was just wholesome and very much needed. i also vlogged my experience down in socal/LA for the weekend and it was a lot of fun :)) thank you to my friend sophia for being there for it all and doing so much and for being the best concert buddy ever!!! the trip was a total of like 36 hours HAHAHA

i also got to meet SO MANY of y'all!! outside of this vlog and outside of these cute pics i got with some of y'all, i did get to say hi to many of you as we passed by, and it was a very new experience for me! i didn't anticipate how much ppl knew me or were trying to find me, so next time, i'll be sure to arrange something so i get to see you all! thank you for making my weekend and my life :''')

this weekend really refreshed me. the last few months my world felt suffocating and stressful bc of college and graduating that i kinda forgot how to enjoy life?? seeing bts and singing and bopping along to songs and then seeing your faces in real life opened my eyes and made me remember there is beauty in the world, and that there is a world outside of my anxieties and problems. thank you for making my heart grow 3 times bigger and for reminding me of who i am and why i do youtube. i LOVE YOU. and i love bts hehehehe

here are some common FAQs i'm sure someone might ask:

can i bring a vlogging/video camera to the venue?
- i was advised not to bring one, and i didn't bring it. i used my phone to film concert footage. the venue's website also said to not bring unauthorized video cameras so i assume it was best to not bring my canon g7x.

what seat/section were you?
at rose bowl, i was section 17L, row 61, seats 20 and 21, so hopefully this gives you an idea of what kind of view you can get! i actually like being in the back because it makes the experience more surreal when you see the lights change and all that. seeing everyone happy and bopping was also so nice to see :') close or far away, i think any seat is good!

what did i bring to the concert?
any time i go to a concert, i actually don't bring a lot?? also the clear bag policy was too complicated for me so i just opted to bring as little as possible. i brought my tiny wallet, my army bomb lightstick (ver 2), my rj hairband (plush keychain not allowed so i couldn't bring koya), lip balm, a scrunchie for my hair, a portable charger for my phone, my phone, and i think that's it?? i also recommend bringing a pack of tissues!! not just for crying but at stadium shows, there's mostly porta-potties and those run out of toilet paper, so bring your own tissues! i also didn't bring water or food. just had water before the show, sips of water from fountains, and snacks after the show. i wore pants that had zippers with pockets so i personally didn't need a bag.

when did you get to the show?
we got there around 5 pm maybe? we left at 3:30 pm to get there at 4 pm but there was so much traffic!! make sure you give yourself lots of time! there was just a huge line to get thru security and then get thru the gates but after you pass that you have a lot of time to do whatever you want til 7:30 pm.
