Hello Everyone, it is Dragon Boat Festival, a traditional Chinese festival in memory of an ancient sage. Rice dumplings are the signature food on this day. My mom made a lot of these today, and the main ingredients she used are sticky rice, red beans, dried dates, and cranberries. There are many other kinds sold in Chinese supermarkets, but we prefer homemade. 😊 I sketched while my mom folded the dumplings. I used pen and watercolors, and about 30 minutes.

We don't have to go very far from home to make art. Opportunities are everywhere. All we need is an appreciation of life. 😉
