It's been said that until Robbie Burns wrote "Auld Lang Syne" in 1788 "The Parting Glass" was the most popular song of farewell in Scotland, having been around since at least 1605. Also popular in Ireland the song has been a favourite at our shows for some time. We are honoured to present it to you as sung by our very own Catherine Doersch, known as the "Hammer of God" for her commanding presence on the drums (arr. by Sarah McQuaid).
