Sometimes you picture something in your head that you think is simple. When you go to make it, you find out the materials don't want to cooperate. And, you should have given it more thought. I'm calling it a forge failure. I'm alright with that.

As for the forge weld, I wasn't only kind of hoping to get a forge weld. Then in the end I tried for a forge weld and failed horribly.
