यह पूरा मामला छत्तीसगढ़ के धमतरी जिले के अर्जुनी थाना इलाके का है, जहाँ 5 और 6 जून की दरमियानी रात को यह हाई-वोल्टेज ड्रामा देखने को मिला। एक शख्स अपनी पत्नी और छोटी सी गुड़िया को बाइक पर बिठाकर, रात को सिनेमाघर से फिल्म देखकर घर लौट रहा था। तभी रास्ते में पुलिस ने उन्हें रोक लिया।
इस घटना के बाद पीड़ित शख्स का एक वीडियो सामने आया है, जिसमें वो रोते हुए आरोप लगा रहा है,
"हमको यह समझ नहीं आ रहा है कि हमारी गलती क्या है? मैं कोई नशा नहीं करता, मैंने शराब नहीं पी रखी है। मेरी बच्ची सोई हुई है और ये पुलिसवाले बोल रहे हैं कि जब हमारे बड़े साहब आएंगे, तभी तुमको यहाँ से जाने देंगे!"
शख्स का दावा है कि पुलिसवालों ने चेकिंग के नाम पर पहले उनके साथ बदतमीजी की। और जब उसने अपने बचाव में मोबाइल निकालकर वीडियो बनाना शुरू किया, तो वर्दीधारियों का पारा सातवें आसमान पर पहुंच गया और उन्होंने कैमरे के सामने ही उसे एक जोरदार थप्पड़ जड़ दिया।
This entire incident took place in the Arjuni police station area of ​​Dhamtari district, Chhattisgarh, where this high-voltage drama unfolded on the night of June 5th and 6th. A man, carrying his wife and a small child on his bike, was returning home from a movie at the cinema when the police stopped them on the way.

Following this incident, a video of the victim has surfaced, in which he weeps and alleges, "I don't understand what my fault is. I don't use drugs, I haven't drunk alcohol. My daughter is asleep, and these policemen are saying they'll let you go only when our superior officer arrives!"

The man claims that the officers first misbehaved with him in the name of checking. When he pulled out his mobile phone to film his defense, the uniformed men became furious and slapped him hard in front of the camera.
