From its start, COVID-19 has affected local music, and Israel has been determined to mitigate its damaging impact. In his talk, Israel shares actionable steps everyone can take to save and serve their local music scenes and explores the future of the local music industry. Founder of the Latin Music Awards Kentucky, Israel is a community leader, digital marketing professional, media contributor, and musician. He has served on board of directors and led non-profits. Israel holds a bachelor’s in communications and music, a master’s in music, and a master’s business administration. Currently, he is finishing a master’s in digital media at Bellarmine.
