Baby elephant Khanyisa forages with Lundi and Adine & enjoys nibbles during her morning milk bottle

During an early morning out in the bush, Adine joined Tigere, carer Tichnoana, and Khanyisa and the herd — as the elephants foraged between the trees and bushes. 🌳🐘

The females grazed close to Khanyisa, with Lundi and Bubi right beside the little calf. Lundi stayed close by Khanyisa’s side as Adine gave Sunshine her 8am bottle. The bigger female elephant didn’t seem interested in having a sip herself on this day, although she has enjoyed a drink of the milk formula before. ☺️

Khanyisa was very keen to snack on the grass and leaves, the call of the delicious lush vegetation too great to ignore. 🐘💖

She enjoyed the rest of her bottle from her friend, Elephant Manager, Tigere, before finishing off the milk and heading back to Lundi and Bubi under the trees in the comforting shade.
