Snow Day Lincoln Plaza Cinema Tour

On a snowy day I walked up 5th Avenue and across lower Central Park to make a farewell visit to Lincoln Plaza Cinemas. This 6 screen art and foreign film theater opened in 1981 (in the basement of a building constructed in 1978). The interior has not been renovated, and is a real time capsule of late 1970s design. The building owner wants something more interesting in the space. Sheesh.

Wonder Wheel sucked, by the way.
