Junghans Max Bill Automatic: the perfect affordable dress watch?
Could the Junghans Max Bill Automatic or Mega Solar affordable dress watch? I took it for a very thorough review with my own experiences.
I was wearing my Junghans Max Bill in a previous video. And one very observant viewer saw this. He asked me, can you review that watch someday? Well, of course!
Not a lot of watches can say they’re part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The Junghans Max Bill is over 60 years old and a real design icon of Bauhaus thinking. But is it any good as a watch? See and judge!
The Max Bill collection consists of an automatic, an handwound and even a solar powered edition, which I also review in this video.
And to start of, a few FAQs answered:
Is Junghans Max Bill a dress watch?
Yes, it definitely is. This watch still embodies an humble attitude. For me it has become the antidote to big, money screaming designs.
How much is this Junghans watch?
The price is 850 EUR
What movement does Junghans use?
ETA cal. 2824
What is the case material and size?
Steel, 38mm

Editor's note:
