Broken Beach (Playa Rota), conocida como "Pasih Uug" en el idioma local, es uno de los destinos más pintorescos y visitados de la costa suroeste de la isla de Nusa Penida, Bali, Indonesia.

Recibe este nombre porque era una gran cueva cuyo techo se desplomó hace mucho tiempo, creando una forma circular de aproximadamente 100 metros.
Se puede observar desde arriba cómo el agua sube con la marea. Tiene una pequeña playa, pero no se puede acceder a ella por tierra.

Debido a su singular formación rocosa y su fácil acceso, Broken Beach ofrece una oportunidad fotográfica increíble. El acantilado se encuentra sobre la bahía de Manta, donde los barcos pesqueros llevan a los visitantes a realizar excursiones de snorkel, y desde el arco, a veces, se pueden ver mantarrayas gigantes nadando en el mar.

Broken Beach known as "Pasih Uug" in the local language is one of the top picturesque and most visited destinations on the southwestern coast of Nusa Penida island, Bali, Indonesia.

Broken Beach is so named from the fact that it was a large cave whose roof collapsed long time ago, creating a circular shape approximately 100 meters long.
From above, you can see the water rising with the tide. It has a small beach, but it is not accessible by land.

Due to it’s unique rock formation and ease of accessBroken Beach makes for an awesome photography opportunity. The cliff is located above Manta Bay, where fishing boats take guests for snorkeling tours, and from the arch, sometimes giant Manta rays can been seen swimming in the sea below.
