Dartmouth - the seaside town where locals have 'no money' or 'more money than sense'

The South Hams town of Dartmouth is known for its incredible natural beauty, rich history, and vibrant tourism economy. But it is one of the most divided places in the UK. On one hand you have the sun-drenched paradise town where tourists, day-trippers and the elite flock. On the other hand, Townstal happens to be one of the most deprived areas of the entire country.

"There are two types of people in Dartmouth," one local told us when they visited the town this week. "There are people who have more money than sense, and people who have no money, and there's very little in between."
