14-Year-old Writes Children’s Book About Brown Ballerinas
Ava Hollway’s had quite the year. The 14-year-old has accomplished a lot since she and her friend, Kennedy George, were captured on camera posing in front of a statue of Robert E. Lee in Richmond, Virginia last June, at the height of the Black Lives Matter protests. For starters, she wrote a children’s book with her mom called “My Ancestor’s Wildest Dreams.” More than 6,000 copies have been sold. Inside Edition Digital’s Leigh Scheps has more. #InsideEdition
