One year ago, we released a video we called The Miracle Sudoku. It's a 25-min journey that starts with deep scepticism and ends in astonishment. Mitchell Lee's incredible puzzle should perhaps have had more exposure but the YouTube algorithm never pushed the video. Instead it's garnered nearly 3million views by "word of mouth" and "shares" on Twitter/Reddit/etc. Thanks to all of you who've watched and enjoyed it!

Today's puzzle shows where sudoku has moved in the last year. It's a puzzle by Qodec, one of our very favourite constructors. Just one given digit and a few lines in the grid...! It's called 3etween and it's a joy from start to finish. You can play it at the link below:

Rules:
Normal sudoku rules apply. Digits on a line connecting two circles with black outlines must be between the digits in those circles. (I.e. the digit in one circle is greater than all digits on the line, while the digit in the other circle is smaller than all digits on the line.) Digits along an arrow in the grid must sum to the digit in that arrow's circle.

Some comments have requested clarification on whether a digit can repeat on a Between Line. The answer is yes (subject, of course, to normal sudoku rules!)
