Bear caught on camera and high school students build construction skills

A bear. A birdfeeder. And an attempted robbery caught on camera. It was another backyard invasion, this time at a Northwoods cabin in the town of Silvercliff. Bad news for the bear though, the feeder was empty. You can see the bear ripping the feeder off the hook. Wildlife officials say bears can smell food up to a mile away. A new home on Green Bay’s east side is the work of students in the Bridges Construction program. They earn high school and college credit and valuable hands-on experience. And it was a great day for baseball and a lesson in weather! The FOX 11 team of meteorologists and more than 3,000 students took part in FOX 11 Weather Day at the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers' stadium.
