The JW Marriott Resort Mai Khao Beach - Best Hotels in Phuket

I am looking for special hotels on the tropical island of Phuket, Thailand. Today: The JW MARRIOTT RESORT MAI KHAO BEACH, a 5-star resort in the Northern end of Phuket, which is category 6 in the Marriott Bonvoy world.
I have known this place since it was opened about 20 years ago. I think it's among the special hotels in Phuket as it's a typical American resort hotel. Service is very good, beds are large and very comfortable, there's lots of entertainment on offer - except for during the Covid pandemic, when there's almost NOBODY in the resort. You will get a huge hotel almost to yourself. However, with spa and gym closed and also just 1 of th 3 pools open. And one other thing happened that didn't seem very professional.
However, it's still a very nice resort, wirth visiting. Have a look yourself!

NB: I visited as a normal guest, paid the regular price and didn't get extras for this video! I simply like to present places that I think are worth
knowing...
