Hoje foi um dia emocionante, trouxe de viagem um Enchroma, um óculos especial que faz com que daltônicos possam ver como as cores realmente são. A reação de Pedro diz tudo, não consigo ver esse vídeo é não chorar junto com ele...

Uma amiga da área de física me deu a seguinte explicação de como funciona a lente:

"Esse óculos é uma grande sacada... o grande pulo do gato foi entender o que causa a mistura das cores... o óculos só deixa passar a luz em três regiões do espectro (RGB), onde não há sobreposição na sensibilidade de cada tipo de fotoreceptor... e aí o olho nãos mistura as cores e diferencia.

Ele deixa ver, da mesma forma como a televisão mostra todas as cores com apenas leds de 3 cores RGB... mas a banda é mais estreita, o que garante que cada cor seja só detectará por apenas um tipo de foto receptor"
