This weekend’s Marvel Crisis Protocol showdown featured a classic clash: X-Men vs. Guardians of the Galaxy!

Brendan channeled his inner Professor X — planning, strategizing, and probably doing some telepathy too — as he led the X-Men in a mission of mutant justice.

Meanwhile, Steph rolled in with a ragtag crew of Ravagers, trying her absolute best to cause chaos and bring the fight to the doorstep of the Xavier Institute. Explosions were had. Plans were foiled. Dice betrayed.

In the end, the mental might of Brendan’s X-Men proved too much… but those Guardians never go down without a fight.
