Floridians along the peninsula’s west coast are in full gear, preparing for another hurricane threat forecast to bring strong winds and dangerous flooding as soon as Thursday across the Florida Gulf Coast. Tropical Storm Helene continues to strengthen in the Caribbean Sea ahead of its anticipated landfall in the United States on Thursday. Helene is expected to become a hurricane Wednesday and would be the fourth hurricane to make landfall in the U.S. this year.
