Biography
Ruyonga is a Ugandan music and Hip hop performing artist, speaker and songwriter. His music has amassed fans of all ages and backgrounds.
Formerly known as Krukid, he was one of the youth who pioneered
Hip-Hop in Uganda in the nineties and has consistently and successfully continued to reinvent himself since. Ruyonga has shared stages and worked with many reknown artitsts in and outside Africa. He won multiple awards and competitions throughout his career, guest lectured at prominent universities around the world and was picked by Rawkus Records as one of the 50 most prominent hip hop artists on
the Internet in 2007. Since returning to Uganda at the end of 2011 as Ruyonga he has released three successful albums with release shows having thousands in attendance, and multiple successful chart topping radio singles. He was on Channel O’s 2013 list of Ten
