SLP is a high-performance, fast-setting, self-leveling, cementitious overlayment designed for polishing applications. SLP quickly levels and maintains workability for up to 20 min, bonds well, and produces a tough, long-wearing surface. SLP can be applied from 3/8” to 2” in a single lift and up to 4” if extended with a proper aggregate such as pea gravel. SLP is ready for light foot traffic in 3-4 hours, can accept floor coverings in 8-12 hours, and can be polished in 24 hours. When ground and polished, SLP is designed to mimic the appearance of polished concrete. SLP excels as a floor repair patch and can be color-matched to most existing concrete surfaces.

Unlike competing products, SLP is very easy to polish and less abusive to your diamonds, yet still provides a hard, non-shrink, polishable wear surface. SLP also does not portray the artificial surface look that other brands can do.

Concrete is the material of choice for floors, foundations, drives, patios, roads, and walks. This is for a good reason. Concrete is very economical compared to other materials, and, unlike other materials, it can hold up to the elements and harsh treatment. The fact that concrete can be poured and finished to resemble almost anything imaginable makes it a unique and useful construction material. Even though concrete is the king of construction materials, it is vulnerable to continuous abrasion, harsh chemicals (ie. acids), staining due to the porous nature, deicing salts, and frequent freeze-thaw environments.
Many cementitious decorative treatments such as stains (even acid stains) or other decorative concrete topical applications can degrade without the proper protection.

What is the difference between a concrete coating and a concrete sealer?
Technically, they are all “sealers”, but a concrete coating is a certain class of sealer. Our definition of concrete coating here is a resinous substance that is liquid or semi-liquid and hardens in time to a clear or pigmented smooth surface. Concrete coatings are generally more viscous and may have a higher solids content, which results in thicker applications. Some coatings may be at least twice as thick as a concrete sealer. Many coatings or topping compounds for concrete can be used indoors or outdoors. Each coating has its own unique set of properties. Coating technology over the past thirty years has advanced, like most products.
