Monster Hunter World: Tempered Kushala Bow Perspective

Kushala Daora is a four legged Elder Dragon with a pair of widely spreading wings. Its skin is plated with metal that makes weapons bounce off without enough sharpness. Kushala Daora has numerous horns lining its head and sharp claws on each of its legs.

Kushala Daora have the ability to manipulate strong winds, creating a wind barrier that surrounds it during rage mode. The wind barrier can knock a hunter back, making the hunter vulnerable to Kushala Daora's attacks. The wind barrier also makes it difficult for the hunter to attack its body, except for head and the tail. However, this wind barrier can be weakened by poisoning it.

This is a tempered version of the elder dragon boss Kushala. The video shows the fight from a bow users point of view. We fight him in the elder's recess map. I play on a PS4 Pro with Mimikins who also produces videos for this channel. We would be welcoming of any potential players wanting to hunt along side us :)

My gear is is as follows:

Bow: Archer's Dance III (Augment: Slot Upgrade)
Head: Dragonking Eyepatch Alpha
Body: Kaiser Mail Alpha
Hands: Zorah Claws Beta
Waist: Kaiser Coil Alpha
Legs: Kaiser Greaves Alpha
Charm: Master's Charm III (since changed to Awakening Charm II)
Support Slot 1: Bandit Mantle
Support Slot 2 : Vitality Mantle

Jewels i am using is simply 3x Vitality due to the fact i currently do not have a lot of good options at the moment and having 200HP after canteen food or max potion effect can be a life saver! Once i get another couple of warrior's streamstones i will add affinity and attack bonus as well.

I know this might not be an optimal build but I am quite happy with this blast bow build for now. I am working on some other bow builds as well and will showcase them at some point also. Kushala himself is particularly susceptible to blast build up as you will see within the video and using blast coating further amplifies that build up! After i finished this recording i went ahead and got myself an Awakening Charm II made which brings out the bows full blast potential!
