Abdel Rehman is a 46 year old man from Sudan. He came to us with a slip disc problem in his cervical spine resulting in severe nerve compression. This resulted in severe pain along with tingling and numbness in his right hand and also led to weakness in his right hand. He underwent microscopic ACDF or anterior cervical discectomy and fusion at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals at New Delhi, India. With the use of modern technology, this a routine surgery done from the front of the neck. Patient is able to stand and walk very next day. Mr. Abdel Rehman got discharged from the hospital on the second day after his surgery. His pain was totally gone after the surgery. This is a highly successful surgery with a success rate of 99%.
